Wireless Sensors Networks (WSN) has become the extremely overlapping, highly integrated, cutting-edge research field owing to its wide application and international demands. Based on rapid-developing Sensor-System, Wireless Communication System and Networks System, WSN turns into more integrated real-time monitoring system, which is the pathway to the objective world and Internet, expanding the information-obtaining ability of people and providing direct and effective information, as well as immediate and visual interface. WSN is a new access to information and skill for processing which could be applied to detect physical information of objective world such as environmental, human-life parameters, floods and some other parameters to be the reference for military defense, industrial control, city management, bio-medical, environmental monitoring and disaster-relief for pre-warning.The software design and debugging of sink-node of WSN is discussed in this thesis, whose goal is monitoring environment. The sink node software system provides the communication link of remote upper pc and sensor nodes; in addition, the sink node takes charge of all the sensor nodes. The entire system has the features of low power consumption, data encryption and real-time uploading. The sink node connects remote upper pc with GPRS module for the interaction of data and command. The dissertation focuses on software design of ARM-chip LPC2106 in sink node. The sink node is the juncture of sensor nodes and remote pc; it provides stable long-distance communication link for sensor nodes, as well as data-uploading and user-controller for upper pc. The user-program of software design is developed in C on theμVision platform, coordinating data communication of transfer-node, Ferroelectric Nonvolatile RAM and GPRS module-SIM300C by user-program andμC /OS-Ⅱoperation system, fulfilling data collection, storage and uploading in four different tasks.
