Design And Implementation Of The Host Platform Core Banking

Core Banking is the heart of the bank. Almost every transaction need to be done through the core banking, at the same time, banking system need large data saving and time online transaction, function of IBM DB2 and CICS transaction middleware more and more important. So both IBM DB2 lab and CICS lab in dire need of a simulate banking system to test its new performance and new function. In addition, it will be helpful for those who plan to work for mainframe in the future. The author also hope using the most advanced technology to improve the existing core banking system, not only satisfy the above people but also satisfy the uninterrupted expand society.Based on this, the author firstly study the basic operation of banking, knowing the basic components of core banking system, having a tentative programme and then designing a core banking module, then do lots of deeply study the new technology based on mainframe, knowing DB2 V9 just supporting XML formatting data storage, CICS transaction middleware V4.1 supporting EP(event processing) function, then the author put forward its own method in improving check module of banking system, at the same time, the whole system also helps the person who work at IBM DB2 and CICS lab.This thesis uses'Z/OS+COBOL+DB2+CICS'and Agile developing mode to design a mini banking system, makes auto choose database DDL, auto choose database mode SCHEMA and auto making config files themselves come true, and resolving the problem of people who are ready to work for mainframe in the future and the problem of can't test performance and new function in DB2 or CICS lab, in addition, using CICS EP function makes event processing come true and at the same time, resolving the underlying security hidden danger of check in banking system and at last At last, achieve a core banking system which is safer and more credibility.
