Research And Development, Research Management System Based On Web Mode

On account of the rapid development of the computer technology and the popularization of network, every walk of life is confronting with great challenges as well as opportunities. Especially in the field of the informational management, in the face of these challenges and opportunities, most of the university and scientific research branches have impoldered a lot of management information systems(MIS). Therefore, the sections which are seperated in the past because of the different areas are now connected as a whole. Owing to the virtual network----a resource sharing platfom, on one hand, each section transmits its own data and resources to the severs for processing; on the other hand, all these data and resources are shared adequately. Furthermore, an entire process management model which has adequately realized the integration and continuity comes into being. Because of its advantages, the level and efficiency of academies and scientific researching sections are rapidly promoted. Hence, a more accurate and expeditious reference for making decision are provided for the decision-makers. In the course of the construction of informationalization, how to make good use of the website technologies and researches and develop a suitable MIS with the help of the platform of the large Web Database system is becoming an important and urgent mission for each unit.Based on the developed and designed relative theories and thoughts, all the successful experiences and virtues of the MIS for the academies are used for reference by the author. In the thesis, in order to develop a scientific researching MIS which is suitable for Chengdu Commanding College of the Chinese Armed Police Force,the following points are maily considered by the author: firstly, it should be in accordance with the Relative Standards of the Educational Management Informationalization framed by Ministry of Educaiton in China; secondly, it should be according with the relative requirements of the informationalization constuction in the army in China; thirdly, it should be scientific, advanced, simple, safe and easy for maintenance. This thesis is composed of five chapters. At first, the author analyzes the researching background of the topic and expatiates the relative research( domestic & abroad) in this field after cleaning up the relative resources. Then, the theoretic base of the system is mainly dissertated.After introducing and comparing Client /Server (C/S), Browser/ Server(B/S), and Extensible Markup Language( XML), the author puts forth a factual structue model for our college. Then, the system including the analysis of requirement and feasibility is analyzed in detail. In the meanwhile, the flow chart of the system and data is drawn. the author has designed the system. Firstly,the starting with the developing goals, the platform of the developing system is chosen; then the functional modules has been designed; finally, the security of the data for the system has been designed. several crucial problems of the design is analyzed. the system is tested. In the end, the author generally points out the main characters and shortcomings of this essay and puts foward some reasonable thougths for the future development of this topic.
