The fan was usually controlled by hand in the small cement grinding station; the required air of the bill was regulated by adjusting the fan opening value, which wasted a mount of electric energy. Now we use advanced intelligent control technology and inverter to adjust the fan's speed, which can save power consumption.We use fuzzy PID intelligent control technology to control fan's speed, which based on the operation of cement plant process demands.We take experts'professional knowledge and experience into the control system. According to cement water content and cement clinker grindability, when we enter their test values in the monitoring system of the host computer, the control system can run due to the setting value.The PID fuzzy controller is realized by programming in the PLC, through the output of the PID parameter adjust the fan speed and regulate the flow rate of Charging Capacity of the ball mill, which make the ball mill work in the best operating area.According to the system hardware characters, we chose S7-300 as the control core. ET 200M distributed I/O gather signals from the sensors. We chose the fan/pumps specific frequency converter MM 430 as the driver. We use WinCC and HMI (human machine interface) MP 270 as host computer monitoring.The communication between host computer and the PLC control system is realized by PROFINET fieldbus; and the communication between PLC and the implementing agencies is realized through PROFOBUS fieldbus, we can also debug converter online, read and write inverter parameters through PROFIBUS.The simulation results of the control system show that the fuzzy PID controller has smaller overshoot, faster response, more self-adaptive, better able to control operation of the system than the conventional PID controller.This topic puts intelligent control technology, electrical control technology, field bus technology, HMI human-machine monitoring technology into the energy-saving control system of the fan, which not only improve the level of automation of the cement technology but also improve the efficiency of cement production and reduce power consumption.
