Steel ball coal mill plays a very important rule in mid reserve powder-making system of power plant. It is so significant to measure the inner load of ball mill that the ball mill can work at the best output point to save energy and reduce the consumption. There are many methods to measure the load but they are used separately. The trend is advanced theory, methods and multi-factor combining measure.The thesis argues the theory basis of differential pressure method, shaft vibrating method and current method to characterize the inner load of ball mill. Study the information fusion. Solve the design idea of using the fuzzy-evidence theory combined by D-S evidence theory and fuzzy theory. And use LabVIEW to design the virtual instrument. Mix the three kinds of signals together to get a more precise signal. This method can advocate the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, so that it can monitor the load of the ball mill more accurately.
