University Campus Network Traffic Monitoring And Network Optimization

In order to find network error quickly。all access equipments need to be managed,understanding the situation of network,including the port traffic,equipment operating performance,network robustness and other parameters.This paper studies an effective method to get state information of network nodes by using the effective software MRTG,which is following SNMP protocol.Through this method,the flux load can be displayed in intuitionism and provided to users in HTML document format including PNG images in order to find out performance problems of equipments and networks.With the development of the Internet, more and more things people want to do depend on the Internet. With the increasing expansion of the Internet, it is becoming more and more important in people's life. College campus network as the pioneer of the computer network's research and construction has developed into a large-scale structure and complex network. The use of asymmetric network resources is growing. The need of the network is more and more intensity. However the threaten of the virus such as Trojan and Worm is getting more and more severity. So , there usually are some faults in the Internet.
