This thesis is made up of the review and research reports. In review, there are two parts. In part one, the substrates for immobilized of chemiluminescence reagents are introduced, the literature dates from 2000 to present. The advantages and limitations of chemiluminescence sensors using the substrates are discussed. Its applications and further developments are summarized. In the second part, the properties of trivalent manganese are introduced, and the applications of trivalent manganese in chemiluminescence are summaried.1.A novel chemiluminescence sensor using glass as the substrateA novel chemiluminescence (CL) sensor with flow-injection analysis (FIA) is described. In this study, it was first immobilized Manganese(III) in solid phase via melting manganese dioxide in glass at 1000℃,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet-visible spectrometer characterization of manganese valence state, with the iodometric titration oxidant content. Oxidant with different content leads to the change of chemiluminescence intensity at different temperatures. Nothing solid partices of manganese dioxide was found when the Solid-melt glass was dissolved in the mixture of hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid. Furthermore, the release of the oxidant concentration was determined, the reproducibility of the sensor was examined, the lifetime of the solid-phase reactor, with-in precision and intra-day precision was investigated.2.Its applications of the chemiluminescence sensor are summarized. This sensor responds linearly to the analgin concentration in the range of 5×10-8 to 1×10-7 g/mL. The detection limit was 2×10-8 g/mL. The sensor has successfully been applied to the determination of analgin in pharmaceutical preparations. The possible mechanism of the CL reaction is discussed.A preliminary application of the chemiluminescence sensor for the determination of quinine and sodium sulfite was examined, and it is further validated the feasibility and the reliability of the chemiluminescence sensor.3.Preparing of trivalent manganese solution used for chemiluminescence detection In this paper, the trivalent manganese solution was obtained through the direct reaction of manganese dioxide and sulfuric acid, the coexistence of manganese ions in solution was studied, the properties of the trivalent manganese solution was investigated, furthermore, the application of trivalent manganese in chemiluminescence was discussed. It has the following features preparing trivalent manganese by this way. The way to prepare the trivalent manganese solution is simple, rapid and stable. It is only about five minutes that two kinds of reagents are heated to obtain higher concentration of trivalent manganese solution. If the heating time is adjusted, the concentration of trivalent manganese is also changed. The solution of trivalent manganese can be stabilized at room temperature for twenty days.
