GPS(Global Position System) is widely used in navigation and positioning satellite communications system. Navigation and positioning applications in many industries can not do without GPS technology. The mission objectives of this subject is to develop a GPS device based on embedded computer.Papers focus on the development of embedded computer how to use a high reliability and high accuracy GPS positioning equipment. With GPS location-enabled terminal device is known as the GPS device. Its positioning accuracy, reliability, and speed indicator devices directly affect the positioning performance. Now the various manufacturers in this field are constantly invest in research and development of more accurate, real-time stronger and more reliable GPS positioning navigation devices.As the embedded computer system is a demand can be cut according to the application of computer systems, display many irreplaceable advantages, making it a very good performance, scalability, so the use of space is also very extensive, papers have done a more description.The main topic was also discussed the use of embedded computer and the development of GPS equipment, application technology.Depending on the target is intended to develop a high accuracy GPS positioning equipment for mobile vehicle, in addition to requiring the device has a relatively high positioning accuracy and computational speed, he also should have a number of other auxiliary functions, good scalability and a wide range of the external interface. Used in the design based on RISC technology, Intel PXA255 the CPU to achieve the device's motherboard, and using current friend GUI with an embedded operating system, Windows CE, the focus is to study the subject of embedded systems technology, as well as GPS positioning technology in this area application development.In this issue, I am the main task is to machine design and the motherboard design, equipment performance analysis and acceptance. Hence thesis will focus on topics about the overall program design and theory, as well as embedded systems based on GPS system of the combination of signal processing, digital circuit technology and software fields, how to achieve equipment design and development methods.
