The microwave amplitude & phase receiver plays an important role in the antenna and RCS measurement. So, one of this thesis's goals is to detailed introduce the international advanced microwave receivers. By the depiction of perform principles, characters and error analysis of the Broad-Band-Double-Mixer- Double–Orthognal- Demodulated Microwave Amplitude & Phase receiver system, a new intermediate frequency digitization receiver is provided. At the same time, the perform principles and digital signal processing arithmetic are introduced.Another research point of this thesis is to introduce the application of the DSP embed-system in the microwaves, which is made of high speed ADC sampling components, FPGA components,DSP components and Ethernet components. In this part, only the FPGA components and DSP components are detailed, furthermore, we complete the system debugging.By substituting the analog circuit with the DSP digital system, the intermediate frequency digitization amplitude & phase receiver take on the character of high speed and precision, meanwhile, provide a base for continued development. For example, we can substitute DSP with FPGA ,then the system performance can be increased greatly.
