| After joining the WTO, the keen competition of shipping industry and customers with more and more personalized requirements, traditional models such as CY-CY,are becoming unable to meet the development of modern shipping industry for shipping companies. Therefore, the shipping companies develops activity of logistics freight business to provide door-door transportational logistics services and value-added logistics service and intergrated high-efficency and comprehensive logistics service through regarding logistics company as portals, customer as guides. But shipping logistics involves many aspects,gots flexible business and strong applicability. In order to ensure whole business processes high-efficient and smooth, we should establish a shipping company information management system. But thinking of most of shipping company information systems established separately and the absence of essential coordination and communication among different systems, the system is incompatible when the the business volume is increasing high nowadays. Only by establish a new type shipping freight forwarder management information system can integrate the core system before optimizing the shipping company business processes, cover the shortcut of original system, improve the various systems within the enterprise, and externally with other relevant units of information exchange. It will satisfy the needs of market development better.This thesis analyzes the status of shipping freight forwarding system, based on the state of development for COSCO's actual work requirements, focused on integration and implementation of the shipping freight information-oriented management system and the application of the existing core systems.Through the study of the existing core system (such as IRIS2, SAP, EDI) of COSCO, combined with the related shipping freight forwarding theory, we can design and develop " Customer Oriented Regional Information System" (CORIS), realize the COSCO's integrated information-oriented, efficient intelligent management.In China, freight forwarding information system design and implementation will help to solve the different environments of the subordinate units of COSCO and resolve the customs port of differences such as local customs institutions.Data will be intergrated with core systems,such as IRIS2, SAP, EDI platforms,and data of business concentrated in the headquarters for management.Then application architecture can be constructed in accordance with business requirements to meet the operational convenience, to avoid duplication of data entry, improve the operational efficiency of ports, as well as outlets for raising the competitiveness of COSCO of great significance. |
