Overseas online shopping is a shopping style increasingly getting popular in recent years.Compared to domestic e-commerce overseas online shopping has advantages in terms of price and quality.As sometimes overseas e-commerce does not provide direct delivery to China,the int'l freight-forwarding is a regular solution.Since China entered the WTO,the tariff was gradually reduced,which brought lower cost of overseas shopping.In addition,as RMB exchange rate rises in recent years,Chinese consumers have a growing fascination with overseas shopping,which results the increase of the freight-forwarding business volume.Since lack of a set of professional information management software,the traditional freight-forwarding companies are not able to provide excellent service to individual users who have intensive business requirements but less professional knowledge in terms of service experience and work efficiency.For this reason,many traditional freight-forwarding companies are developing and improving their own management software gradually.With the wings of the "Internet+",these companies improve their competitiveness in the industry.Regarding the issue above,with the real software engineering project that was commissioned,the author made a comparison on advantages and disadvantages of management software of other companies in the industry,studied the common business in the management process of int'l freight-forwarding companies,obtained special business requirements existing in the company through practical investigation and customized a set of int'l freight-forwarding management system based on Java EE for the company.In this paper the basic concept,working principle and implementation of int'l freight-forwarding management system are elaborated and Java EE platform,MVC design mode,typical SSH frame composed of Struts2,Spring and Hibernate in server-side,Tomcat server and MySQL database server are introduced as well.Hardware and network topology are programmed due to the practical application requirements.With UML,requirement modeling on the system is conducted combined with use case diagram and activity diagram.The application system architecture conforming to the MVC design mode is provided.Functionally,the system meets the common demand of most int'l freight-forwarding companies,such as:user management,address management,and order management.In addition,it designs the modules of route query and warehouse no-space pre warning according to the special requirements of the company.In the route query module,a data sheet used to store customs tariff information is set up as the data basis of optimum selection.In the warehouse no-space pre warningmodule,the pre warning is conducted based on the analysis of order history and the completion of orders.After programming,unit testing on methods of each category is conducted.Finally,the system is deployed and functional acceptance test is completed.The results of system testing and user practical application show that the int'l freight-forwarding management system based on Java EE which designed and implemented in this paper meets the actual demand of the company.The new modules improved the users' experience.It reduces the difficulty of using it and achieves the design target.
