The original material management system functions and the R & D technology adhibited can't satisfy the needs to Unicom Jiangsu Branch's material management by far along with Unicom Jiangsu Branch business inflation-like expansion. In the field of function, it has not these functiones such as the storage verification, the ex-warehouse verification, the loss statistics and the statistics material consumed according to administrative offices for the original material management system, and the materials information deleted can't be resumed. In the field of technology, it is adopted the JSP-Servlet-JavaBean structure in the J2EE platform by the original system, and the development and the maintenance was very complex.Therefore, R & D Unicom Physical Resource Management System is necessary, based on the Struts-Hibernate frame technology.First,they are analyzed that Unicom Physical Resource Management System current situation and existence questiones, and the necessity to research and develope this system is discussed in this thesis. Based on the discussion, the major function of this Unicom Physical Resource Management System and the core processes are analysed. Then, the system's overall architecture as well as this detailed design processes of these core subsystems are expounded, which consisted of the subsystem of the foundation information management,the materials storage, the materials ex-warehouse,inquiry statistics,background maintenance, and so on, combining with the Struts-Hibernate integration framework. And the key content is that hierarchical design is adopted, and the data access layer is increased between the business controller layer and the persistence layer, and the system's development efficiency and maintainability is improved;At the same time, the data retrieval is made simple and easy through Hibernate's HQL queries and associated operation, and the system operating efficiency is improved taking advantage of Hibernate second-level cache.Finally, Unicom Physical Resource Management System's design process is sumed up.
