Qtp Automated Testing Framework For Enterprise-class Applications

Software Testing is being regarded more and more seriously these years, testing technology in China is growing fast against world-class level. Software testing ensures software's quality in SDLC. Automation testing is one of the advanced technologies in software testing. Among all kinds of automation testing tools, Quick Test Professional (QTP) is the most typical one, but actually automation engineers always work alone instead of working as a team thus the team could not use the best of QTP. As a result, the efficiency of quality assurance is affected.This thesis will first analysis the importance of software testing and automation testing in SDLC, then discuss the bottleneck each company will encounter with the development of automation team. As a result, automation framework will be introduced. Regarding QTP automation framework, firstly analysis the characteristics of QTP, then base on automation framework describe in detail about design, architechture, implements of QTP automation framework. At last, leverage Mercer's automation project to prove the feasibility, convenience, accuracy of our framework. Prove the great value QTP automation framework could create.
