The effective implementation of ERP systems can facilitate the modernization and scientification of enterprise management and adapt to an increasingly competitive market demand and bring enormous economic benefits to enterprises. Production management system is the core of ERP, combining with the entire production process of enterprise organically, effectively reducing inventories and improving the production management efficiency.In this article, Dalian Port Engineering Co. Ltd. is the research object. The necessity of implementing ERP system is educed through environmental analysis and analysis of enterprise's present situation. The implementation program of ERP project is designed according to actual situation of enterprises. The ERP project implementation is elaborated combining with implementation process of project. Finally, the ERP project implementation effects of Dalian Port Engineering Co. Ltd. are summed up.
