The main work of this paper is to design the RF front-end of a pseudo-random code phase modulation detector. In the analysis of pseudo-random code ranging principle, this paper discussed the advantages and disadvantages of continuous wave and pulse wave pseudo-random code ranging system, studied the commonly used form of pseudo-random codes, and highlights the characteristics of the m sequence and barker code sequence. This paper designed a pulse wave pseudo-random code ranging system solutions by using barker code as the modulation signal, carried out a detailed analysis of the structure of the ranging system, determined the system's launch waveform, and estimated the system indicators.The key components of this RF front-end includes SPST, low noise amplifier, power amplifier, mixer, divider and level conversion circuit. The curves and debugging methods of each component are given in the design while focused on the design method and attention in the design process of various parts, summarize the problems during testing components and propose solutions.Finally, the RF front end experiment ranging system board has been completed and the system function by simulated ranging program has been tested. Overall test results of the rf . front-end ranging system is given, and analyzed the test results.
