The Ultra-near Anti-missile System for Tank (UAST) is a kind of intelligent weapon systems for tank to avoid attacks from anti-tank missiles in battlefield. UAST is mainly composed of Radar Detecting System, Computer System and Counterattacking Bomb System. The Radar Detecting System discovers invading missile in its valid detecting range, measures and gets the invading missile's position information, sends instruction and fires counterattacking bomb in proper time. Subsequently, the Computer System gets the counterattacking bomb's real-time position information by some necessary means, computes and decides the optimum time when the counterattacking bomb and the invading missile will meet. Once the counterattacking bomb and the invading missile reach their optimum distance, the counterattacking bomb's warhead will be detonated. The explosion produces large amounts of fragmentations in high speed, and destroys the invading missile. In this way, the invading missile is hold up and the tank is protected.UAST is equipped with the Complex Radar System of both Continuous Wave Pseudorandom Code Phase Modulation and Mono-pulse Amplitude Comparison (CRS), and CRS measures and gets target's position information. This article discusses the designing principle and implementation scheme of CRS in UAST.This article analyses the signal characteristics of several typical CW radars, and presents the principle and application of Doppler radar. As one focal point, this article researches the generation and math characteristics of Pseudorandom Code Modulated Signal, analyses the spectrum of Pseudorandom Code Phase Modulation Radar Signal, and presents this kind of signal's application in distance and speed measurement. This article also researches the application of Mono-pulse Amplitude Comparison Radar in angle measurement Finally, this article elaborates the working process of CRS in UAST.After careful analysis and reasoning, this article proves that CRS in UAST has favorable tactics performance, possesses favorable feasibility and practibility, and is one of the best choices for the radar system of UAST.
