The rapid development of electronic countermeasure technology has caused the battlefield environment to be complicated and seriously affected the normal performance of short-range detection radars.The millimeter-wave pseudo-code phase-modulated short-range detection radar has characteristics of small size,low power consumption,high measurement accuracy and strong anti-interference ability,which has important application value.This article designed a pseudo-code phase-modulated continuous-wave short-range detection radar,and designed a set of baseband signal processing system,and implemented the signal processing algorithm with FPGA programming.The content is summarized as follows:(1)The working principle of the pseudo-code phase-modulated continuous wave shortrange detection radar system was analyzed,and the key parameters of the radar of this system were demonstrated;the range and speed performance of the radar,the weak signal detection capability,and anti-noise institutional interference were studied.(2)The methods that can improve the ranging and speed performance in the projectinterpolation method and CZT method were studied,and software simulation verification and hardware implementation were carried out;the detection performance of the radar on the R-D two-dimensional spectrum was studied,and enhanced the small Signal detection capability and anti-interference tolerance.(3)Developed a set of FPGA-based baseband signal processing boards,completed the hardware circuit design of modules such as baseband phase-modulated signal generation,IF filter amplification,signal conditioning,and analog-to-digital conversion;the signal processing algorithms that is applicable to FPGAs and meet radar performance requirements were designed,which included I/Q demodulation,matched filtering,distance gate rearrangement,Doppler detection,and constant false alarm,and other processing modules;signal processing algorithms were implemented through the ISE platform,and timing logic simulation verification was performed through Model Sim.(4)An analog IF signal generation module was designed to simulate the generation of IF echo signals and IF echo signals under the interference of noise systems;the effectiveness and realtime performance of the signal processing algorithm were verified through hardware and software joint experiments,and at the same time,applicability of signal processing algorithms under interference were verified.
