As an important part of agricultural education in China, college education of agricultural profession assumes the responsibility of fostering modern agricultural talents. In the teaching practice, however, there have long existed such uncontrollable factors as region, season, environment, and visualization, which not only causes great inconveniences to teaching, but also substantially restricts the improvement of college agricultural education.With the application of film and TV technology in education, scientific and educational videos have become the effective method to solve those problems mentioned above. Currently, many agricultural colleges and groups have been engaged in the creation of related scientific and educational TV programs, intending to break through the bottleneck which has long restricted college agricultural education. However, there exist evident drawbacks and shortages in the application of agriculture-related scientific and educational TV programs to agricultural education, such as lack of instructive significance and niche, homogenization, and so on.College education of agricultural profession calls for scientific and educational programs in the perspective of modern educational technology. In this paper, in light of the features of college agricultural education and its audience, we propose the concept of"scientific and educational TV programs facing college education of agricultural profession", through applying theories of scientific and educational video creation and modern educational technology and referring to our own creative practice. On this basis, we focus on analyzing the creative theory basis and creation of"scientific and educational TV programs facing college education of agricultural profession", put forward its four ontic features, namely, visualization of forms, scientificity of contents, instructive of functions, and networking of communications, and construct the creative system of"scientific and educational TV programs facing college education of agricultural profession".In this paper, we research the creative procedures involved in agriculture-related scientific and educational TV programs and classify these procedures into five steps: scheming, writing, advance-phrase preparing, shooting and recording, and editing. We also respectively give each step detailed description.The theories we propose in this paper have been successfully applied to the creation of《palingenesis》,which is typical of"scientific and educational TV programs facing college education of agricultural profession". The program has been applied in class teaching and is highly praised by both teachers and students. The analysis and research of related teaching data prove that《palingenesis》has achieved satisfactory teaching effect.
