| This dissertation mainly introduces the design and implementation of VoIP hardware platform based on OR1200 CPU. This project integrates OR1200 CPU IP core and a variety of controllers into an FPGA to implement a digital system. Some related circuits are added to the FPGA to complete the VoIP hardware platform.This hardware platform takes the Cyclone II series FPGA EP2C70F672C8 (designed by Altera Corporation) as centre, together with some peripheral circuits such as VGA/LCD video interface, AC97 audio interface, PS2 keyboard interface, Ethernet interface, UART interface, SDRAM, SBSRAM, NOR Flash and NAND Flash. The VoIP terminal prototype machine is fulfilled by transplating the Linux OS and developing the drivers and applications for the hardware platform. Voice and network functions are tested on this terminal. Testing results show that the system can accomplish voice recording, playing, codec and network communication. VoIP terminal prototype machine can be used as a telephone on IP networks, which verifies the rationality and stability of the VoIP hardware platform. |
