Silicon-molybdenum rod furnace is used to iron ore softening melting process.It is a kind of non-linearity, time variability, and large time log object.It is difficult to establish it's accurate mathematic model.On the basis of the temperature-resistance characteristic of silicon-molybdenum rod furnace and the temperature requirements of iron ore softening melting process, this paper has proposed a temperature-current dual-loop control strategy.The temperature was the outer ring for silicon-molybdenum rod furnace temperature control; the current was the inner ring for the surface of silicon-molybdenum rod load control. On this basis, it has also studied the traditional PID control algorithm and fuzzy control algorithm. Combining the advantages of both them, it has designed FUZZY-PID daul control algorithm based on swith of fuzzy rule, and focused on intelligent approach for heating rate and steady-state accuracy of the temperature of the softening of iron ore during the melting. Simulation results showed that the intelligent control algorithm for the first-order time delay system has been provided with the characteristics of simple structure, fast dynamic response, high steady-state accuracy and robustness.This paper has also designed a set of intelligent temperature control system with C8051F020 microcontroller, based on the FUZZY-PID control algorithm.The software has used a modular design method, with friend human-machine interface and to be easy to operate. The experimental results showed that the system can be in the larger field of temperature control (room temperature~1600℃) of silicon-molybdenum rod furnace for temperature control, and be able to meet the system in the heating and temperature control thermostat stage requirements for iron ore soft melting performance parameters provide access to good conditions.
