Research And Application Of Cwm-based Metadata Integration

With the rapid development of information and network technologies, effective data exchange is urgently needed between various types of network information systems, data integration has been the key to information sharing.However, different data models adopted by different systems and information systems are isomeric, in the absence of a common semantic understanding, to solve the problem of data semantic consistency,sharing of information at metadata level need to be achieved.With the study of current metadata integration strategy and the analysis of CWM specification, relational database is used as the central metadata repository,the advantages of the metadata integration strategy based on meta model is adopted,a metadata integration program based on the CWM is designed; In order to complete description of the object information of CWM, the CWM meta model storage structure is gave; The metadata mapping methods and mapping rules of the relation model-UML and UML-XML are studied by introduction of UML modeling techniques;The metadata exchange method between the source and target meta documents is analysed and designed based on the CWM specification to facilitate metadata interoperability; In order to integrate metadata in line with the CWM standard, a RDBMS storage strategy and arithmetic for CWM XML documents is provided.Combination the current situation of expert information interconnection sharing platform,in order to realize the sharing and exchange of expert information, the metadata integration program based on the CWM is applied to expert information system, a comprehensive understanding of expert information structure and semantics is described by metadata, and the expert information metadata is regulated by CWM, the metadata management operating mechanism of expert information system is gave, and the examples of expert information metadata modeling, mapping, exchange, storage are showed.
