Research On Enterprise Metadata Integration Based On CWM

In recent years, the need of Enterprise Application Integration for the corporation is more and more urgently with the rapidly pullulating of the corporation's information systems. The data integration becomes a study hotspot of this industry. At present, although the integration of the corporation data has many different measures to deal with, they are still lack of common understanding to corporation data, so these measures cannot solve the problem of the coherence quality of corporation data radically. In order to make the metadata interchanging between Data Warehouse and business analysis domains come true expediently, OMG brings forward CWM (Common Warehouse Metamodel) which is the core of new strategy of MDA.With the thorough analysis of CWM and combine the situation of present corporation integration, this paper puts forward a set of corporation metadata integration measure which based on CWM and integrates with new strategy of MDA about OMG.In this paper, the primary research tasks consist of the construction of metadata interchange pattern, establishment of adapter and construction of Data Warehouse.First of all, in order to content the urgent need of corporations presently, a set of solution on the base of model is put forward. This solution solved the problem of inter-translation between different products not only because of the Metamodel is exteriorized and irrelative with special realization flat, but also for the interchange of metadata on the basic of the common exterior metamodel, and in the other side, the cost and complexity of integration system construction is greatly depressed comparing to the traditional one on the base of metadata after the metadata adapter replacing the traditional metadata.Secondly, the designer of CWM cannot take part in all the conformity problems about all the uses of CWM need to solve after regarding CWM as an interchange standard, the interchange pattern of construction metadata is brought forward to solve the localization in the course of using the CWM to interchange corporation metadata on the ground of consulting patterns.Then, the study of adapter in the corporation metadata integration system construction on the base of CWM is emphases of this paper. And the relational database is very popular in the corporations as the data source; this paper emphasized the design and realization of the adapter on the base of relational data sourceFinally, this paper takes further study of the common warehouse the task group once designed. By the way of mapping from the objective concepts to CWM memory warehouse, the common warehouse which based on Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS can still reserve the objective concepts. And the concepts are the foundation of achieving interchange between the basic framework of UML and MOF.
