The system of pulse laser rangefinder is widely used more and more because of its superior performance, especially in the high-frequency ranging system, the advantages of pulsed laser ranging can not be compared by phase-ranging system and others. The system of receiving has been researched in this dissertation, for the purpose of solving the difficult problem that the low precision existing in pulse laser rangefinder now. At the end, the circuit was designed by using the reasonable chips and methods.After anglicizing the theories and methods related, the dissertation chosen the pulse laser rangefinder, at the mean time, the narrow pulse laser diode was mentioned, which was used in the system. Because the optical signals were difficulty to process, the optical signals had to be transformed into electrical signals. The light receiver-APD selected which had low noise and high responsiveness wavelength. The unit of high voltage had designed based on the control feedback. Considering the APD and the bandwidth had to be suitable, amplifying circuit was designed by discrete components. In the aspect of time distinction, the circuit of fixed propagation delay and high comparator were used whether not to make a fixed threshold voltage to judge the signals which was back. Finally, the TDC and MCU were used to design the timing circuit which had the high distance resolution, conduct a preliminary validation.
