A high-precision pulse laser rangefinder solution is proposed in this paper through the research of high-precision pulsed laser rangefinder system on the basis of referring to the subject technical indexes. Besides, some key technology involved in pulse laser rangefinder system design such as pulse reading, amplifying circuit, timing discrimination, time-interval measurement, etc, have been researched and discussed in depth.In this paper, the pulse signal is read by Voltage-Current conversion, and the controllable gain amplification technology is taken so that the amplified pulse signal varies in limited amplitude scope. As a result, the walk error in timing discrimination caused by pulsed amplitude fluctuations is reduced. In timing discrimination, pre-discrimination constant-fraction discriminator makes a further reduction in the walk error. Time-interval measurement is the core of this paper. The design of the time-interval measurement based on TDC-GP2 made time measurement accuracy reach 72ps. High-precision time-interval measurement provides a reliable guarantee of the ranging accuracy of the system. |
