With the rapid development of injection molding industry, there is an increasing demand for factories' automation degree. Existing injection molding machine dedicated manipulators such as pneumatic-wide manipulator and single-servo robot are no longer well positioned to meet users' need. Multi-axis servo robot has become a direction for the future development of injection molding machine robot. The object of study of this paper is three-axis servo injection molding machine dedicated manipulator. A prototype of three-axis servo robot is designed and manufactured according to the structural characteristics of injection molding machine manipulator. The finite element method is used for the analysis and optimization of the manipulator model in order to identify the best structure. The combination of touch-screen and motion controller is used to develop the control system of the three servo manipulator.The finite element analysis software has been applied for the analysis of the three Servo Injection Molding Robot such as static feature, modal, harmonic response and transient analysis. In accordance with the results, improvement has been carried out to ? the robot's design, so as to optimize the manipulator's structure.Calculation has led to the method for selecting the capacity of the servo motor. The hardware connection mode of the three servo manipulator under position control and the adjustment of the servo motor's parameters have also been identified. With servo motor debugging software, on-site debugging has been done to the servo motor designed for the three servo manipulator. Through the experiment, the actual motion form of the servo motor has been extracted and a comparative analysis been carried out so as to optimize the function of the motor.Touch Pane MT8080 of WEINVIEW has been used to develop a man-machine interface for the three servo manipulator. The overall structure of human-machine interface of the three servo manipulator has been identified. A detailed analysis has carried out, aimed at the core of the Man-machine interface - the development of the instruction function. And new touch-screen utility functions have also been developed. Trio Motion Controller MC206 has been used to develop the motion control system of the three servo manipulator. The flow of the manipulator's automatic movement has been analyzed and the function of part of the main programs of the motion control system been explained. Analysis and discussion have made on the origin regression method of the robot in order to improve the safety performance of the manipulator.
