With the break of the monopoly , the competition among the telecommunication companies is becoming drastically. For being the winner companies are looking for the method of improving the customer's service. They need scientific method to support decision eagerly.Nowadays, data belongs to telecommunication companies is not unified and is distributed to different operating databases. Such data is not suited to data mining. So constructing the data warehouse is required.In this condition, the article focuses on the application of the technical of data warehouse and data mining in identifying customers. The article begins with the problems that telecommunication companies are facing to, which is the reason why we need the Business Analytical System. What is following is the necessary of the application of the data warehouse and data mining in identifying customers. Third, I introduce the process of the building data warehouse. Finally, basing on the data warehouse I use data mining to identify several clusters of customers and then establish policies to different customers. |
