The rapid development of promoted the growth of all kinds science and technology has nowadays greatly of electronic medical equipment. In recent years, the portable electronic equipments which are based on the embedded system are the new hotspot in electro-information industry. Therefore, to use embedded technology in this kind of product as well as an excellent Geometric User Interface (GUI) in the terminal receivers and easy for the users, is a popular trend, which is considered to be a good foreground.The author puts forward an individual-soldier life parameters monitoring system based on the arm embedded techniques in this paper. The system is portable equipment that can monitor soldier's life information such as the body temperature, the sphygmus, the breath, etc, by subminiature biosensors placed on the soldier. The system is for the purpose of the auto detecting soldier's life parameter, auto bringing forward the unusual physiological status, and sends the fore-warns to the far rescue center using wireless digital communication. Thus it can decrease soldier's war casualty rate, and satisfy the needs for remote monitoring the soldier's physiologic status.After analyzing the present situation of the embedded system and the applied foreground of life parameters monitoring technology, this paper supplies hardware/software solutions for a low cost node platform which are based on the S3C44B0X chip produced by Samsung Co. The technology mainly involves uCLinux, Qt/Embedded, software designing research of hardware interfaces. This platform's ascendency is low cost, big memory, fast velocity of processor and carrying out the hospitalization in long distance. So it has the comprehensive value of application and the widely foreground of market.
