As a terminal communication network in information warfare,the individual soldier radio(ISR)network has strong resistance to destruction,and supports the transmission of various services such as real-time voice and battlefield situation information.It provides real-time battlefield awareness for front-line fighters,and has become an indispensable part of the future digital soldier system.This article mainly focuses on the related technologies of the data link layer to improve the transmission efficiency of the integrated service in the ISR network and reduce the energy consumption of ISR for communication.The first part selects suitable access methods by analyzing the characteristics of the services carried in the network,and makes a detailed design.The access method combining random access and fixed time slot assignment is adopted in a multi-party call service with high realtime requirements.Combining with the sliding window mechanism for selectively retransmitting ARQ,the adaptive selection of the CSMA or CSMA/CA access method is adopted in the data service according to the amount of data to be transmitted and the remaining available resources.Combining multiple access methods can not only meet the needs of the low transmission delay and jitter of the voice service,but also ensure data service transmission efficiency and improve channel utilization.In the second part,according to the characteristics of synchronous network transmission and phased communications requirements,a demand-based dormant and wake-up MAC layer scheme was designed for the individual soldier's low-power consumption requirements,which effectively reduces the idle listening time of the node and reduces the energy loss caused by idle listening.At the same time,the synchronization period under the dormant state is increased to reduce the power consumption for maintaining network synchronization.In addition,in order to solve the problem that the new boot nodes are slow to access the network when the network is in the dormant state,a late-entry network scheme is designed to effectively wake up adjacent nodes and allow the newly-booted nodes to quickly access the network.Finally,the throughput of the network designed in this paper and the average energy consumption of the nodes were tested in different scenarios on the OMNET++ simulation platform.At the same time,with the help of the individual radio hardware platform,as well as oscilloscopes,channel simulators and other related instruments,a large number of tests were conducted on multi-party call services,data services,and network hibernation and wake-up,which verified the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
