A Gun Fault Detector Data Acquisition And Communication System Design

In the anti-aircraft defense weapon system of modern warfare, anti-aircraft gun plays an irreplaceable role. With the development of science and technology, the structure and technology of anti-aircraft gun system become more complicated which requires new fault detector. The data acquisition and communication system is an important component of the detector. Therefore, its research and design are of great significance.In response to this situation, combined with the related technologies, this thesis analyzes the functional requirements of data acquisition and communication system of fault detector, and completes the design of the system. During the hardware design, relyed on a particular industrial control computer, the task focuses on the design of ISA/PC-104 interface board which includes RS-232, RS-485, CAN communication modules, GPS modules and other modules. The programmable logic device EPM7256AETC is programmed by schematic and VHDL language in order to achieve the goals that industrial control computer could communicate with functional modules through the ISA lines and allocate address, interrupt resources. In accordance with the system requirements, the software design of expansion board includes Windows driver and interface functions which are packaged into a DLL for PC calling after testified. The interface functions include GPS data processing functions, send&receive functions of RS-232, RS-485 and CAN modules.The data acquisition and communication system designed in this thesis has been proved useful. Through the analysis of the test results, the system can meet the requirement which is that the system can collect needed fault information of anti-aircraft gun and provide a guarantee for follow-up fault diagnosis.
