Based on the relevant research of the eight millimeter wave linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) detector, this thesis takes charge of the data acquisition and signal processing system of an 8mm wave LFMCW detector. As an important part of the detector system, this work contains the project design, the development of hardware and the software realization.Firstly, the principle and structure of a 8mm wave LFMCW detector is introduced in the thesis, and the measure principle of a object distance and velocity is analyzed for the detector. One kind of typical LFMCW signal, i.e. the symmetrical triangular LFMCW signal, is analyzed and its ambiguity function is calculated and discussed.Secondly, the relation is analyzed between the range resolution and the linearity of linear frequency modulation signal in LFMCW radar, and the theory of linearity correction of LFM signal is introduced and a method for linearity correct is put forward.Thirdly, with the thoroughly research of the measuring distance principle of the LFMCW signal, an data acquisition circuit is designed for the detector. In the circuit, TMS320F2812, as the main processor, and CPLD, as a logic control core, are combined together.Finally, the signal integrity and power integrity in the design of high-speed PCB design are researched in this thesis. And the PCB design of the system is analyzed in detail.
