With the development of communication technology, human beings have being accustomed to use the Internet as soon as they could. From the Internet, people can obtain last news, share their work or purchase products they like best. From history, we can see that, all the things could not be accomplished in one move, but step by step. From the remote communication system which used by single computers, to the system which linked by communication lines from serveral host computers; from the begining of dialing through phone line to the areola wide band and the browse webs in mobile phone, network technology changes so quickly that make our lives also change greatly. Now, the development of the communication is not only the speed of the network, but "wirelessness", "security", "stableness", "convenience" have become the new standards in our hearts for the network.GPRS maybe is that type of network system which can fullfil people's wish. GPRS is the short name for "General Packet Radio Service", which is developed from the GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications) system. The most difference between GPRS and GSM is the base-exchanging system. GSM is a type of circuit exchange system but GPRS transmite and receive data by packets. So, GPRS is proper for transmiting intermittent or frequent and slight data. Sometimes, it also can be used for transmiting a great deal of data. This special characteristy appropriate to almost all mobile applications.GPRS wireless communication devices take advatage of the GPRS system which can be real-time online, fee by flow, fast landing, high-speed transmission and free exchange. So, devices can transmite data to data center through GPRS system fastly and efficiently. At the same time, devices can also receive command data from data center and send it to monitoring equipments to accomplish the function of real-time transmiting and real-time controling. This device is low-cost and high accurate, could do none damage to circumstance. It can be installed and maintained easly which will provide high-speed, online forever and reliable services. It can be used in lots of different businesses. This subject focus on the introduction of a GPRS communication device in the following sequence:(1) Basic technic knowledge;(2) Hardware component;(3) Requirement analysis;(4) Preliminary design;(5) Systematic testing;And compare with the same kind of productions, it has lots of advantages as:(1) Embeded TCP/IP stack;(2) Linking with Internet automaticly without intervention;(3) High speed data transmission and efficient;(4) Satisfy with amost all industry-standards without custom-building;(5) Safety and reliable, can preserve data in extremis;...
