The basic idea of software radio is to build a general hardware platform on which the broadband ADC and ACD are close to antennas as possible, and by means of software, radio functions are realized as many as possible. Based on this programmable hardware platform, a variety of criteria and communication moods can be accomplished with software, which brings a lot of communication functions conveniently and improves the system flexibility significantly. As another innovation of wireless communication technology, software radio is nowadays one of the most important research aspects in the field of communication. Recently, the digital channelized receiver based on polyphase filters is a good solution of the software radio receiver. Under the condition that the broadband probability interception is achieved, complexity can be reduced obviously and the ability of real-time signal processing can be improved. Therefore, in this paper, the research falls into the following jobs:Firstly, the basic theories of digital receivers are introduced briefly, such as sampling theorem, multi-rate signal processing and digital signal orthogonal transformation.Secondly, after analyzing and comparing the digital receivers based on several kinds of popular digital models, polyphase filter channelized processing is developed under practical needs. This paper also gives out the full discussion and the detailed deduction on this system scheme.At last, according to the specific index requirements of the project, this paper carries out the realization analysis and accomplishes the simulation of DDC and polyphase filter channelized processing with MATLAB and realization with FPGA. It gives the detection results of the system functions which validate the correctness and the feasibility of the system proposed.
