In modern society, our living space and battle space is filled with extremely intensive electromagnetic signals, forming a complex electromagnetic environment, making the development of new communications equipment and military equipment to be a big challenge. As laboratory equipment for the research and development of weapons and equipment, electromagnetic environment signal simulator can provide close combat training environment. With the rapid development of information technology, the important role of information warfare is gradually emerging in a new era of warfare, the information technology of our troops lags far behind abroad. In order to get rid of foreign technical barriers and enhance capacity-building of national defense, researching and developing proprietary electromagnetic environment simulator is an important task.IF signal Electromagnetic Environment Simulator discussed herein:(1) First of all, using the theory of software radio technology, design and derivation algorithm to obtain design theory to achieve in accordance with, according to the functions need to design the electromagnetic environment of the source signal frequency analog indicators.(2) Simulating the structure of the algorithm for the algorithm functions in MATLAB, and optimization algorithm based on the indicators; and then combined with the FPGA implementation structure, floating-point algorithms to fixed-point conversion algorithm to provide the basis for FPGA implementation algorithms.(3) Considering the ultra-high-speed data transmission problems between the FPGA and the DAC, combined with the characteristics of the device, and flexible using of FPGA internal serializer to implement between-chip data transfer rates of 2.4Gsps.(4) With FPGA devices parallel algorithm of structural features, the use of hardware programming language, based on the combined number of filtered channel of emission technology, complete design environment simulator.The whole design of this paper, using of the design idea of software radio architecture, is based on in-depth study of channel emission theory. Using of FPGA to implement the electromagnetic environment signal simulator with sixty-four channels. It can simulate radar signal, communications signal and other interference signal simultaneously within the instantaneous signal bandwidth of 1.2GHz. Within and outside the field test, it will provide high frequency band, multi-style, high-density electromagnetic signal environment, and provide true and reliable technical support for the troops and weaponry test drill.
