Radar system simulation technology saves much money for the system's research, design and verification, and it also makes the radar system have good performance. Because the radar simulation technology has the characteristics of economy, flexibility, repeatability, portability and so on, it becomes a key technology in the research of the radar system and anti-electron jamming.Based on the research of XX radar software simulation system, this dissertation mainly discusses the design and application of its sub-systems: clutter generation and signal processing.The main content and work in this dissertation can be summarized as follows:This dissertation analyzes the main parameters of the phased-array antenna, which is used in this radar simulation system. It studies the grating lobe of the wave- beam and the weighted antenna function, based on which it proposes the design method of the phased-array antenna.The clutter simulation module of the radar simulation system is studied in this dissertation. The mathematical simulation model of several typical clutters is analyzed. The clutter generation model is given and realized. Finally the received module of clutter has the characteristics of generality and flexibility.The algorithms of signal processing are studied, and a configuration of signal processing simulation system is put forward in this dissertation. It introduces some signal processing models and the simulation methods. It adopts several signal processing methods such as DDC, pulse compression, MTI&MTD, CFAR and coherent accumulation. The dissertation mainly studies the pulse compression of LFM, including the LFM sidelobe suppression after pulse compression and the affect of incomplete pulse-compression and doppler frequency to pulse compression. It analyzes the realization of MTD by methods of FFT and FIR respectively. The fast CFAR and slow CFAR are analyzed, and the processing result of the two methods is compared. Besides, the improvement of coherent accumulation to SNR is also studied. Finally, according to the studied signal processing algorithms, it displays the signal processing process dynamically by the use of Matlab GUI, which obtains good result and verifies the feasibility of the studied algorithms.
