Recently,it is very common that TV media mould brand and increase the income by planning large-scale activities initiatively.On the one hand,large-scale activities plannings are a great reform to TV media.On the other hand,TV media are confronted with opportunities and challenges.How to scheme large-scale activities has become the focus in TV industry.The academic circles have discussed a lot about planned large-scale activities by media.However,the present achievements don't update and perfect themselves with the development of practical activities-planning,ignoring the emerging new situations and tendencies.Actually,large-scale activities planning by media have concentrate on brand-recommendation and marketing instead of focusing on public-spirited activity. Thus,the research focus should be transferred,which the relevant study doesn't involve in the theory.Based on the present research,this paper aims to reexamine the practical large-scale activities through document investigation,interview and case study.It also tries to analyze these activities by adopting communication studies theory.First,this paper generalizes the large-scale activities planning by media,defines the concept and the categories with the help of TV media planning and large-scale activities planning,analyzing the basic types and development status.Second,large-scale activities planning by media,from rarity to popularity,are influenced by social,audience and media factors.This paper theoretically analyzes the cause of large-scale activities planning by media and discusses their social and economic value.Third,this paper analyzes the flow and principles of large-scale activities planning by media,focusing on the soul of activity-planning—innovation.It also expounds the novelty of management and the creative planning must be gone through it.Besides,the specific planning should be thoughtful and the industrial chain should be followed after the end of activities.Finally,this paper makes use of "Gate-keeper" theory "pseudo-environment" theory,"Agenda-setting" theory and so on to analyze the limitations and real misunderstandings of activity-planning by media.How to better plan large-scale activities is crucial to TV brand-construction, resources integration and industry management.TV media plan large-scale activities actively,with whose influence to build TV brand,increase the rate of spectator satisfaction and green rating.Thus,the advertisement collecting volume is enlarged, which eventually promotes the development of large-scale development and TV industry.
