Fiber guidance is a guided mode which makes use of optical fiber to transmit information between a ground station and the guided missile. Because of a series of advantages of fiber guidance, such as high guidance accuracy, good ant-interference ability, concealed launch, large capacity of information transmission, low cost and flexibility, it is attached importance by governments and the military. In this paper, the test and diagnosis of the winding flaws of guidance fiber is researched.The flaws of fiber winding line package can make the missile in flight break fiber, so that it will cause heavy loss. So fiber winding line package must be precise detected before being used. In this paper, X-ray is used to detect fiber winding line package.First, the technology of X-ray detection is expressed and analyzed, and the cause of the winding flaws of guidance fiber and types of flaw are researched and analyzed. Finally, this paper gives the program of detection which makes use of point X-ray or rectangular parallel X-ray to scan the flaws of fiber winding line package. The program can reduce the non-resolution of X-ray detection, and improve the contrast and resolution of flaws. In addition, the model of winding flaws detection is established and analyzed, and this paper makes use of different width-related-ray to do numerical simulation and proves the feasibility of the theoretical detection.Then, the relevant experiments of single-fiber ray attenuation are finished, and the law of single-fiber ray attenuation is given. This paper makes use of micro-focus-ray monitor, X-ray real-time imaging detection system and medical X-ray machine to do different shots for Winding self-made samples, and all of the result maps are good. At last, this paper makes use of point X-ray to scan fiber wound samples, and gets the changing value of voltage in flaws and proves the feasibility of the program. The further development of the diagnostic system has a good foundation.
