With the development and application of infrared(IR)-imaging guided weapons, hardware in the loop (HWIL) simulation, that tests and evaluates infrared-imaging seeker develops rapidly. And in this kind of simulation, the generation of IR images is the key technology, so this dissertation is focused on the generation of dynamic infrared scene based on Vega.At first, the principle of infrared-imaging simulation is introduced. Then, the target model (armored car) is created by three-dimensional modeling software Creator. After that, the physical process of IR radiation transmission in the atmosphere is analyzed and simulated by MOSART. Finally, generation of dynamic infrared scene is realized by Vega. Furthermore, man-machine interactive interface are designed by MFC and Vega API.The developed software can generate real-time infrared scene varying with the target speed, wether and the location of observer. To verify the acurracy of the infrared images generated by computer, the simulation credibility is studied and many methods have been used to determine the credibility, such as subjective evaluation, theoretical comparison, interior availability evaluation, parameter availability experimentation and curve method. At last, the simulation is proved to be reliable.
