Scene simulation as the most important expression form for Virtual Reality, has been widely used in city planning, tourist industry, virtual battlefield and so on. In this paper, in allusion to the problem of three-dimensional scene GUI, scene simulation management system has been detailed designed, some key technologies about how to realize the system are researched, and solved some technical problems during the development courses. The main work and innovation as follows:(1) Through Multigen Creator which is modelling platform for three-dimensional digital campus model database's construction and Vega is software environment for virtual reality and real-time simulation applications. The Vega application based on MFC is realized which using the technology of VC++ and Vega API on the windows platform.(2) Some key technologies about how to realize the system are researched. In this paper, mainly focused on three aspects: First, the technology of virtual scene interactive, forced on multi-comparison, object picking and moving, interactive selected between object and its attributes, etc. These technologies not only the basic but also the most important, which have been fully researched. Second, mainly researched some technologies such as delaminate display ,four-dimension texture mapping, etc. which are based the technology of scene database, the layers and models can easily hide, display and load. Three, mainly discuss how to realise the environmental effects of virtual scene which are based on the particle system, utilizing the particle system build the models of water, rain, snow and so on, which meet the needs of the environment simulation.(3) Combination the idiographic project to explore the scene simulation management system which has been applied in the " digital campus" joined the database management system, three-dimension scene and model management system in traditionary campus roaming, realized a variety of real-time interaction function, in this virtual environment users have more intercommunion, and the traditionary campus roaming system has a further research and implement.
