RFID technology has recently shown growing interest in a wide range of industries,especially in logistics and manufacturing.The business integration with enterprise information management system has become the trend of RFID technology. As the RFID related business process becomes more difficult and changes more frequently,meanwhile the different enterprise information management systems have sprang up,the traditional development method of RFID cannot meet the increasing requirement of business application.The RFID business application has to face series of significant challenges:how to substitute traditional data management system with emerging technologies to process the stream data,when RFID data occurs in the form of a fast,continuous and real-time stream of tag items;how to support business integration effectively,while the integrated project will require system reconstruction in large scope for enterprise information management system;how to improve the RFID middlewares to business integration level rather than still staying at the data filter stage.For above problems,the data stream conception and data stream management systems are firstly introduced in detail.Secondly,the theoretical models of data stream and commercial data stream management systems are deeply analyzed.Thirdly, the basic characters of system and operations supported by query language are systematically described.And then,a business integration middleware framework based on data stream technology is proposed.From the perspective of application structure,three main layers are particularly designed.Device layer provides the concept of "reader proxy" in which data stream technology is involved,which will eliminate duplicated data according to the content or status of tags;based on the component model,business serving layer brings forward the conception of "data stream related business components",applying comprehensive continuous query to realize business process;application integration layer focuses on the data mapping mechanism which is used to fulfill voucher transmission and parsing.Finally,the data stream query language based on RFID business is presented with a set of syntax specifications and samples.Taking the inflow operation of warehouse management as an example,the whole business processing workflow is described systematically.The main contribution of this paper is the proposal of the RFID middleware platform based on data stream technology.The innovation is to substitute the traditional way of data management and business processing with data stream technology,as well as extracting and parsing voucher objects from the heterogeneous XML business vouchers by data mapping mechanism.Not only the large volume of collected raw data will be processed in real time,and the business processing will be simplified through data stream query;but also a loose coupling integration between RFID technology and enterprise information management system will be achieved.
