Mobile Ad Hoc Network Topology Management Software Research And Design

Using the self-organize technique,Mobile Ad-hoc Networks(MANET) can satisfy the survivability and mobility requirements in Battlefield Network,such as Battlefield Information Distribution System and Tactics Network.MANET Topology Management is one of the key techniques to MANET, which deals with how to realize the quick deployment by antiwar network planning,reorganize the nodes and reestablish the reliable multi-connected network by network dynamic maintenance when nodes mobile quickly or be destroyed in the wartime.Topology Management techniques is very important to modern battle.In this dissertation,the author focused on the key techniques for MANET Topology Management and software system.A method for design and realization which covers the antiwar network planning and network management in the wartime is developed to provide for Battlefield Network Manager.The main contents as follows:●MANET and MANET Management Prototype System is introduced;The application requirements for Battlefield Network is analyzed emphatically;The basic structure,the implementation principle and design thoughts for MANET software system structure,topology discovery and topology planning is given at last.●For the sake of resolving the problems which are Neighbor discovery,the single-hop neighbor and link status maintenance, Neighbor Discovery technique is proposed.It provides the nodes and links status change info for Topology Discovery●Study and apply the topology maintenance algorithm based on the shortest path tree and A fault-tolerant topology control algorithm,take the advantage of the algorithms' benefits,a Topology Control Techniques is proposed which meet the characteristics of Battlefield Network.The Topology Control Technique is capable of saving the energy and Tolerating fault.
