Embedded Boot Loader Analysis And Design,

The project issued from the building of the National Quality Courses (NQC) of Embedded Systems and Application of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. And this project is designed to further improve the quality of the curriculum.Embedded Boot Loader is one of the very important components of Embedded System. Books and teaching materials on markets related to the content of Embedded Boot Loader are less. At the same time, the parts of the contents are more abstract. For most students, there is a certain difficulty in understanding and grasping it. So, after the accumulation of knowledge in the project of Transferring of Embedded Real-time OS-Core and Application Development, and through the exploration and analysis of the current prevalence several Embedded Boot-Loaders related to, I have designed an Embedded Boot loader, which is simple,easy to understand and easy to grasp. The contents, which I designed experiments related to Core-Boot, are to be expected to easy understanding and easy grasping the content of Boot Loader in the learning of Embedded System.Designing of Core-Boot draws on some of the most popular Boot Loader's basic elements, and abandon their numbers of contents, which are complex and difficult to be understand or application-specific. But also have considered the scalability in functions. Thus, it makes the Core-Boot became a streamlined, easy-to-understand and easy to expand Boot Loader. In line with the high-configurable of LambdaEDU3, it can be used in teaching and experiments. And this can be a very important supplementary content in the building of NQC of Embedded System and Application to the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
