Zibo Vocational Institute has three campus dozens of buildings for teaching exepriment and living. It has hundreds of gates and doors that public people can access to other places, but some of these need identification authentication. The intelligence control at gate system is a weekness of campus security management. In recent years, kinds of issues about students'non-observance, especially the illegal coming of external person made the institute's fortune loss. It also raised the possible of security cases. Except reasons of people themselves , The main problem comes form the managemnet, such as management non-arrived, lack of people, management means lags behind and so on.In connection with institute's wide range in geography and problems in managemnet. I bring up an intelligence control at gate system based on the campus card which every student has. This system using the information, which record in the card by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), verities the identification of students and teachers. By controling the time and level of permit access, the system can eliminate the issuses such as obeying principles ,strengthen the institute's managemnet and save lots of money and manpower.The main structure of the system takes three level client/service mode. It has client software applications, application servers and data servers. The application servers charge the system's business logic working.The data servers charge the data's input and output.The client side executes the practice function. Developing enviroment:Win2000/2003,Net Framework 1.1, SQLServer 2000, Visual studio.net 2003.The intelligence control at gate system's main function is these: access control, identification authentication,access time control,white(black) list, twenty thousand records, monitor machine working status, data's upload and download,legal opening, illegal opening and trying.The main elements of this paper studies: the first part of the elaborate access control hardware components and non-contact RF cards, Access Controller principle; Of the second part on achieving access control software functions; Third part of the database table and communications gateway packages, Class structure analysis shows that; The third part of a unified modeling language used UML use case diagram, package map, graphs, and other mechanisms, as well as static modeling activity diagram, sequence diagram, and other dynamic modeling mechanism, the communications gateway analysis and design. Access Gateway main communications system in the lower position (controller) and PC (application server) communication transponders, Access Control System is the communication hub, is the focus of this paper discussed.
