Distributed Management Information System Based On J2ee Technology, Hydropower Companies And Implementation

With high speed development of the technology , the relationship between management and information technology becomes much closer in modern enterprise. Management Information System (MIS) based on Browser/Server becomes a platform of information processing and communicating in enterprises. The characteristics of the management modernization, operation internationalization, business diversification and institution decentralization of the modern enterprises are becoming much more obvious. However, the previous integrated server MIS based on JSP+Servlet becomes more and more difficult to deal with massive data requests from different areas, and its structure is too un-orderly to extend. This article presents Distributed Management Information System (DMIS) based on J2EE technology for hydropower enterprises which have decentralized branches and asks for high data safety. The development platform of this system is Spring-Struts-Hibernate (SSH) which is a good J2EE framework based on the Model-View-Controller(MVC) design pattern. The system is good to deal with multi-thread and easy to maintain and extend.DMIS referred by this article inherits all the functions of the previous MIS, impements data local management and global communication. The system builds up a network of database according to the area features, and every node in this network deals with data requests in local LAN. DMIS sets up a HQ server which provides global services to global users. This database network reduces burdens of the server and net. It has implemented fault detection function of database and sets up double-databases structure which has same data information, it has aims that the standby server can provide the same services when the main server breaks down. When main server recovers from failure, DMIS provides back transmission of lost data to maintain double-database has same data information. Privilege management in DMIS ensure prevent user from over-privilege manipulation, local user can only access local server, meanwhile global user can access and deal with information in whole database network to improve global information communication. User's password encryption ensures user information safety and prevents other user from checking private information from database. DMIS uses Web Service to achieve distributed development of the application programs and has improved team spirit and reduced the time of project development. DMIS satisfies greatly the need of hydropower plant self-management and uniform layout global in hydropower enterprise.
