With the fast development in information technology and network technology, the production and management in enterprises are undergoing an information revolution. Networked MIS is widely applied. For a power enterprise, Networked MIS can play an important role in production and management. On the one hand, MIS of power enterprise includes real time information system and production management system, hence it can provide information about the status of production and equipment security. On the other hand, MIS also integrates service processing system and office automation system, which can provide the decision-makers with timely and accurate information about the production and management, to help them manage the different departments scientifically and effectively.J2EE is the most popular developing platform for B/S model based system. SSH (Struts+Spring+Hibernate) is a famework that is based on J2EE and combines the advantages of Struts, Spring and Hibernate. SSH has the characteristics such as easy to extend, easy for maintenance and easy to control. Therefore, SSH framework is the most popular Web developing framework, and the best choice for MIS development at present.This thesis first introduces J2EE platform and the framework based on J2EE platform: Struts, Spring and Hibernate. Then a MIS system for water power enterprise is designed and implemented based on SSH framework. The design of kernel modules (production report generation module and management priority module), and other function modules is also described in detail.
