Phased array radar (PAR) can rapidly change the direction and the shape of its beam. When applied multi-transmitters, it can combine power in space. It can easily form multiple transmission and receive beams. And its antenna can be conformal antenna. So PAR can be multi-functional, wide range and track high-speed target and multiple detected targets. PAR is getting more and more popular.To simultaneously obtain three-dimensional parameters of a detected target, a PAR will be promoted. It will contain active one-dimensional planar array. And single impulse angulation will be applied. Thus, the PAR's response time will shorten.As conventional one-dimensional array using coercive feed, the signal to be transmitted arrive at radiating elements after via column-feed power divider firstly, via row-feed power divider secondly. For the antenna array having a great quantity radiating elements, enormous cables are used. Thus, this system has bad reliability and maintainability. The system operating higher frequency is getting worse, because of the smaller space of the grid of radiating element and the difficulty of arrangement cables. To promote the reliability and maintainability of this kind of radar, antenna radiating elements and row-feed power divider network are integrated. So we will get a plug-in antenna-row. Thus the system of antenna will lighten. It will also promote the system requirements.I have accomplished the following goals.1. Design appropriate antenna radiating element. Calculate its matching impedance on the condition of considering mutual coupling.2. Calculate the distance between antenna radiating elements applying the theory of classical analysis of antenna array to suppress side-lobe. Calculate the number of the rows of antenna array. Calculate the distribution of the antenna aperture.3. Discuss the characteristic of antenna scanning. Research the method of analyzing mutual coupling. Analyze small array to organize bigger antenna array.4. Design row-feed divider network and implement element- power divider integration.5. Implement theory design of single impulse feed network of antenna array.6. Test the row of antenna and analyze it.
