With the rapid development of the Mobile communication technology, mobile phone has became the indispensable communication tools in the daily life of people. By the using of the electromagnetism simulation software, we can investigate the Electrical performance of mobile phone antenna; investigate the distributing of electromagnetic power in the body; empolder new Optimal program of mobile phone antenna. So by this way, we not only can evaluate the radiation affects on human body of the various modelsphone, but also play a guiding role to the develop new mobile phone.At the same time, the mobile communications system will be capable of transmitting high speed data using multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technology. The use of multi-element antenna arrays at both the transmitter and the receiver in the MIMO system can offer great benefits over traditional wireless communication systems, due to its capability of fully exploiting the multipath scattering environment. Consequently, more and more investigations are focused on the design of multiple antennas used in the mobile terminal, such as mobile phone and notebook. The essential requirement for a diversity antenna array in a mobile terminal MIMO system is that there should be good isolation between the antenna elements in order to receive different signals, even though they are closely located.Focused on the phone's simulation and diversity antenna, the main work of this thesis includes four parts as shown below.Firstly, the related research background is reviewed, including the Research significance of the mobile phone simulation and the MIMO diversity antenna.Secondly, the accurate mobile phone model and the characteristic guide line after simulation are introduced. We have simulated a Commercial Mobile phone, computed the VSWR, radiation pattern, efficiency and specific absorption rate(SAR), also compared with the measurment data. At the same time, the electromagnetism effect between the phone and human body is researched.Thirdly, the planar inverted"F"antenna(PIFA) uesd in the mobile phone is introduced. Aimed at the demand of the diversityantenna, this thesis improve on the PIFA and work out appropriate antenna cell. What's more, we realize the Working Principle of the diversity antenna and present two modified PIFAs with two operating frequency bands to form a pair of diversity antennas in a mobile phone.Finally, the proposed antenna was fabricated and measured. the simulation results and the measurement data were compared with each other.
