The rapid development of mobile communication has had a huge impact on people’s lives and convenience.With the need for further development,the substantial increase in the desire of the wireless communication speed is becoming increasingly strong. The technology of MIMO has been proved to increase the channel capacity notably by using the multi-patch effects and creating a number of independent subchannels without increasing the frequency band and transmit power.Due to the great advantage in improving the channel capacity, the technology of MIMO has become one of hot and difficult researches.Good design of mobile terminal multi-antenna can make ensure the premise of the mobile terminal of MIMO. The mobile terminal multi-antenna design needs of facing the problem that how to ensure the independence of the inter-antenna channel, that is to ensure multi-antenna with a low correlation coefficient and to receive the irrelevant signals.On the other hand, we need ensure low coupling between multi-antenna, that means with high isolation between antenna ports.For the MIMO multi-antenna application in mobile terminals, this paper includes the following sections of content:1.Introduces the background of the MIMO and multi-antenna, the research on multi-antenna of terminals at home and abroad and the design method of the multi-antenna of terminals.2.For specific phone MIMO dual-antenna application, utilizing muniaturization and broadband methods, design phone dual-antenna cover a wide band (1710~2690MHz). Simulation and optimization has done to meet the design requirement and dual-antenna has been fabricated to ensure meet the design requirement by measurement.3.For the low frequency problem of the data card:the TRP of the main antenna has a downward trend with the introduction of diversity antenna. Diversity antenna loadimpedance has been analysised by contrast to passive and active testing of the differences. Get the reason of the problem through simulation analysis on the TRP of the main antenna and be verified through relevant experiments, and finally propose solutions to carry out experiments to verify.
