Rup-based Project Development Practice

In the 1980s, computer software applications and its scale are growing. The defects of the traditional models concerning software development have revealed, and it couldn't be used in developing its software. Therefore the process of software development was urged to form, in which Rational's RUP process has been widely used in current industries.RUP is a process of software development based on UML, depending on three key concepts, which are the use case-driven, the framework as the center, the iterative and incremental, to establish a unified process framework integrated software life cycle, stage, work flow, risk mitigation, quality control as well as project management etc.. Based on the analysis of RUP process and with the help of UML to discuss that how to RUP-related theory as a guide for fixed assets management system.Firstly, a brief introduction of RUP and its core ideology is given. On the basis of this, to discuss the fixed assets management system, as well as the overall framework for the management of fixed assets heart of the system development workflow. Finally, the application of RUP theory designed and implemented Lanzhou Petrochemical College of fixed assets management system. Software architecture using UML language to describe, asp.net software to realize the use of technology. The entire development process iterates twice. This paper discusses the first iterative process and its details, and makes a brief comment on the second iterative process.
