The Research And Development Of Embedded Mobile Communication Devices Based On J2ME

With the fast development of wireless technologies and Internet,the main operation of mobile communication is changing from voic operation to data operation. Though, the traditional network technology brings users with the convenience through the Internet, it lacks of mobility that cumbers its spread. Therefore, mobile office system becomes a new popular area of network technology, with which users can access real-time information and conduct from their mobile telephones or PDAs.Nevertheless, because of the deficiency of mobile devices and technologies, the coexistence of multiform wireless networks and multiform wireless devices brings various difficulty for building a unified mobile office system platform independent of wireless network and wireless devices. Till now, does not exist a unified mobile office system application used widely in the whole country. So, it is quite very necessary to design a unified mobile office system platform that supports various networks and various devices.In this paper, first we take analysis on the evolvement of mobile data service and email mode service in mobile office system ,discuss the solution based on J2ME. Second we discuss the system detailed design and realization. Third we propose how to optimize the program in mobile telephone. Finally we conclude what we have done ,and show our prospect on the further research.
