With the swift development of information technology, our country started the application system project of all kinds of cards which takes the electronic currency application as the key in 1993——gold card project. After several years, IC card on behalf of the mainstream technology already has obtained the widespread application in the finance, the telecommunication, the social security, the tax affairs, the public security, the transportation, the construction and the public utilities and so on, and has obtained the good social efficiency and the economic efficiency.IC card could be divided into two kinds: the contact type and the non-contact type. At present, IC card technology of the contact type has already obtained great application in our country, but the content of application is quite unitary, some IC cards used in some products are for many specific aims, or they are designed for some specific agreements, according to this situation, this article proposed a kind of brand-new plan, designing a kind of connection chip which could control two intelligent IC card simultaneously, with the design of its interface circuit and the assignment of its interior resources, it may control the ISO7816 card, and EMV and the GSM11-11 card at the same time.This article has completed the design of this chip, and completed the hardware design of this chip's interface circuit, and the design of the chip's internal software and disposition. In the hardware design, this paper has mainly completed the gross structure design of this chip, and the disposition of register, the internal module design, the circuit connection between the processor and the connection chip, the circuit connection between the chip and the Booth of cards and so on. In the software design, this paper has completed the design of read-write control module, the initialization module, reads,writes operation module of the register, the interrupt processing module, the up electricity and down electricity control module of the card, analysis the ATR module, data exchange module and so on, by visiting the different register address, and the way of CSR choice, this paper can achieve the project objective finally which this article proposes, the duty that control two intelligent IC card simultaneously.
